Ran 15.16 miles yesterday morning, after getting up at 4.30. It still hurts. Took me 2h 20m, with two ‘walking pace’ blocks of 10 minutes either side of the run in the middle.

It seems I’ve inadvertently been training to do a 4 hour marathon, not a 4 1/2 hour one. I was tempted to ease back on it, but figure it’d be useful to have the slack to fall off the pace. They say you shouldn’t run more than 20 miles whilst training for a marathon, so if I get myself up another 5 miles in training, I’m done. Judging by my pace so far, that’ll put me in total just over the 3 hour mark.  Just need to be able to hack running for another 40 minutes from yesterday…

All coming together.
